Hijama has been recorded in medicine for centuries.
It does not mean Historically a cup has never touched the face but rather Nasima Nahar's method and treatment plans have been exclusively developed by her.
Nasima Nahar the Pioneer of Facial Hijama & Facial Cupping first performing and naming the treatment Facial Hijama in 2009.
Importantly, there is no clinical or medical evidence that facial wet cupping is unsafe. No studies, case reports, or formal documentation exist. This treatment is carried out with specialist tools created specifically for the face, rather than standard body blades such as sizes 11 or 15, which are not appropriate for facial use.
Facial Hijama & Facial Cupping, when taught and practised as developed by Nasima Nahar, represents the first structured and professional application of wet cupping on the face. It stands as a unique treatment, rooted in traditional Hijama yet adapted into a modern therapy.
This is the first formalised and only training course currently available worldwide for Facial Hijama. It provides practitioners with exclusive access to Nasima Nahar’s original method, ensuring the treatment is delivered to the highest professional standards.
⚠️ Any other courses or providers claiming to teach Facial Hijama are not recognised and do not reflect the original method developed by Nasima Nahar. At present, no other training provider has recognised training in Facial Hijama, and standard Body Hijama courses do not include or teach Facial Hijama.
